Harrison, Ben and Nettie have several things to worry about right now. They are worried about Father getting worse, they are worried about how they will keep their claim, and Harrison is worried that Nettie might marry Mr. Buckman and leave them. What do you think is the biggest problem they face right now? Make a prediction about how they might work to solve this problem.
I think that the biggest problem they face is Father's illness. If Nettie were to leave and Ben and Harrison lost their claim and father was still not better that would be the worst possible thing that could happen to them. I think that the way they would fix it is keep farming and watching over father so that he can help with the farming.
ReplyDeleteI think their biggest problem right now is father getting worse because if Nettie gets married i’m sure she’ll still be their for Harrison and Ben and they will calm down because soon they will find a cure,so their problem is their dad.I am sure they will find a cure for father.

ReplyDeleteI think the biggest problem is father, because he owns the land not his children and if someone finds out that's bad. To fix this problem I think they should send Ben or Harison to set out and find a doctor to fix father.
ReplyDeleteI think that Father is responding because when Ben said "Show me more!" he jerked his right hand up and it would not be a coincidence that he did it at the exact same time as the question.
